Hi, I’m Yanni.
I am a bilingual freelance MODX developer, originally from Colombia and living in the UK since 2013, in the Greater Manchester area. I have worked remotely since 2008 and have more than 15 years of experience building for the web.
MODX is my tool of choice: secure, robust and very customisable. MonsterExtras is my personal project around it: free, ready-to-use extras for MODX 2.8 and 3, and short guides to problems I have solved on real client sites. I write, test and maintain everything here myself.
I believe in honesty, reliability and friendly relationships. If something here helps you, you are welcome to support the project, and if you need more than an extra, send me a message.
What I have published for MODX
MonsterFPC
A full page cache that saves each page as static HTML, so it is served without PHP or MySQL. Also on extras.modx.com.
MonsterSearch
A smarter quick search for the MODX Manager: search operators, exact names and direct ID filtering. Also on extras.modx.com.
I also keep a growing set of tips and fixes for problems that come up on real MODX sites, such as upgrades, broken extras and stuck rebuilds.
Work with me
Besides these free extras, I build, host and look after MODX websites for small and big companies, businesses of any size, through my main site. I do not sell one-size-fits-all packages: I learn what your business needs, then I build the website, and the tools around it, that solves your problems. If you need a site built, upgraded from MODX 2 to 3, made faster or fixed, see what I do, read more about me or look at my projects.
Something custom for your site?
These extras are free to use. But the best solution is the one made for you: if you need a high-end MODX website, a system around your business, hosting, a fix, or an extra written for your own project, tell me what you need and I will build it around you.
